Early Reflection
So I guess I've noticed that no one is commenting, so perhaps I'm speaking to myself. But that's ok, I know that Erin Klopp is checking in(ha ha). I want to say that I have had a surprisingly wonderful time catching up with some of our old classmates. John Walls - proud poppa of two- and I had a delightful conversation in which he provided me with several new contacts. I also had the chance to speak with the elusive Luke Muncy who is newly married (and, according to John, to a very lovely woman) and selling cars in Orange County, California. There's Donnie Koontz, who is still in the navy and lliving in Maine with his wife and two children. Pete Schuring is still kicking it Madtown with J.R. Harrell and many others. Kellie Park is in her third year of Medical School, performing her surgical rotation; things have to be great for someone who already has a PhD and is going for her M.D. Likewise, Danny Hallow just defended his PhD thesis at Georgia Tech, and is also the glowing father of Baby Ana, born in March (You can check out photos at www.babyhallow.blogspot.com, she's gorgeous). Gosh, everyone sounds great. All of the email responses also have been positive. When speaking with Luke, he pointed out that I had the rare opportunity to catch up with everyone early and it has proven so fulfilling; I now see that it is an honor to head up our 10-year Reunion. I also want to thank Lynzy Henderson and Sterling Williams for coming through with flying colors, hooking me up with several contacts, which I otherwise would have had a hard time obtaining.
On the detail front, I want to discuss the actual weekend. After pondering which type of weekend would be best, I came to the conclusion that a non-eventful one (i.e. not the Regatta, Ribberfest or Chatauqua) would serve our purposes best. That way we can ensure there are enough hotel rooms and the focus can be on the reunion. I do want input on which non-eventful weekend is best for everyone. I will throw in that the last weekend of July served me well this past summer. It seemed to be a weekend where little is planned, especially since many of our children are not yet of age for team sports and the like. However, if you want a weekend when the weather might be a little cooler, we can shoot for May. Please let me know what you think. Your opinions are invaluable, so bring on the comments!

great work Nicole!
I'm all for not roasting in the humidity provided by the Ohio Valley in July. Toddlers + high temps.= Extreme Parental Exhaustion (EPE).
