Time, Place and Cost

Thanks for the comments on the date. Some have asked about where the reunion might be held. It will likely be at the Clifty Inn, which is affordable and a hotel in one. It's only downfall as I see it is that the class of 96 held theirs there this past summer :-)... As for the Friday night get together, I guess it depends on the response. I wouldn't mind having it at someone's home, someplace with a lot of land. If not someone's home, then someplace big enough to accommodate everyone. It would be adults only and alcohol will be served. Sunday will be a family event and will probably be a picnic at Clifty. My hopes are that everyone attends each event, but it is also set up so that some can make it to at least one.

I would also like to discuss the financial aspect. I know that money is never a fun topic (unless of course you are being told that you are getting a lot of it), but the event will have to be funded. Input is welcome on this topic as well. I will say that I am setting up a checking account in the name of the Class so that when money is collected, it won't be going to an individual. There will be a set ticket price with a discount for two. The actual price will depend on total cost. Standard costs would be for the facility, food, drink, entertainment, etc... But the whole idea is enjoy ourselves with as little worry as possible. Further discussion will be needed about whether or not to cover the costs of Friday and Sunday events.
