It Is What It Is
I'll start off by saying the reunion will not be canceled, but I'll try not to take it personally that only a handful of classmates have responded to the reunion invitations. I guess I should not be surprised given the divisiveness of our class. Ironically the quality of not having a tight-knit or even cliquey class was something I always championed; there were a lot of individuals and that was something to be proud of. But given the fact that I placed a stamp on each and every return envelope and only around 50 classmates sent them back, it baffles me that manners and etiquette escaped so many of us. I don't want to whine about it and I really do want to have a great reunion, I just can't believe that it has come to this. Had I realized that so few would attend I would have organized a simple gathering down on the river, free of charge, BYO... But the wheels are in motion and there's no turning back. For those of you whom are coming, I am excited to see you all. There are a few of you whom are even flying in (Brooke Moye from Florida, Billy Underwood and Erica Dunagan from California) so I'll do my best to make it worth it. Also, to those whom did respond I really appreciate it; it's the not knowing that kills. Let's make it work and have a good time.
Sincerely,
Nicole

No, Eli, you're the greatest. Thanks for the cheers, but I'm not trying to fish for compliments. I really just want it to be a great reunion.
It would have been nice to see everyone but oh well. I think it will be great to catch up with the ones who do show. I know Megan Crawley (Bullington)and Erin Lange (Klopp), their husbands and I will be here for the weekend. We are looking forward to it. We will be out downtown Friday night if anyone wants to join. Thanks Nicole, you put a lot of time and work into this. Im sure anyone that comes will have a good time! See you all there!!
I wish I could travel from Ga but with a sick son and dealing with a divorce it's just all to overwhelming right now. As many of you know my mother passed this pass June so I'm still dealing with that. I wish everyone the best there and enjoy your catch up time!
