It happened and it was fun

So the reunion went off without a hitch (save the nasty woman chasing down beer-drinkers, oh and the liquor drying up at 10 o'clock). Only 55 classmates out of 220 showed, but everyone who did attend seemed to have a great time. I want to thank those people that came and even the those that showed up "unannounced,"it worked out perfectly. I tried to make the rounds to all the groups but I wish I had had more time to catch up. I hope that everyone got out of it what they wanted and will make it a habit to keep coming. The party continued for many of us afterwards, at the Electric Lady, and we had a great night. It was such a relief that people enjoyed themselves. The talk of the evening suggested at having a 15-year reunion instead of waiting for a 20, which makes the most sense to me, so whoever has an idea they want to run with, go for it and I'll definitely help out. There was some money surplussed so I will close the account and convert it to a cashier's check (which has no expiration date) and place it in a safety deposit box. It will be made out to the class of 97 so a new account will have to be opened. The reason I am closing the account is to avoid inactivity fees and in case someone else wants to run with the plans for the next one.

But to bring it back to the good time we had: Thanks for making it a great one, Everybody, and encourage those who decided not to come to definitely come to the next one.
